Travel to the Farm
We left Auckland to drive to the farm at Colville today. We visited the shopping centre at Mt Wellington where we saw some great Christmas decorations, read some story books at Borders and had a snack of vegetable spring rolls at Pak n Save. The lady told Mummy & Daddy that Jennifer and James had the most beautiful manners of any child she had ever served.
We filled the car with petrol, boy are we spoilt in Australia, we paid $1.65/Litre!!
Our gorgeous children slept in the car and woke just in time for a play in the playground at Coromandel.
It was only a short drive from Coromandel to the White Star farm at Colville. We all had a great chuckle when Jennifer announced that there were collapsed cows in the paddock. She continued to explain that the cows don’t seem to stand up in New Zealand and they looked collapsed to her. We arrived at the farm to find acres of lush green grass, great for little people to run, fall, roll and generally have a great time in while the car was unpacked and dinner prepared. We knew straight away this was going to be a great place to stay.
